Worship of Solace
Solace is the Goddess of Nature in the world of Erolan. She is worshipped as a vibrant red haired Bobbin marked with a strong tan and freckled face, wearing simple clothes of hemp and leather. By her side at all times is her wolf companion named Connall. Unlike some of the other gods, Solace does not have much formal worship. The worship of nature is varied and not regimented. The worship of Solace is quite popular in the Grand Caravan of Bhutaar and within the Empire of Yomi.
However, there is one organized church of Solace generally recognized called the Verdant Protectors. They are druids who have traversed from outside the groves in order to protect nature more directly. They also aid the citizens of the Old World with such things as growing food, raising cattle properly and more. It is assumed that the Druids of Erolan receive their power from Solace, however the groves of the Druids and the Druids themselves are so secretive, that no one knows much about them. The Church of Solace and its clergy have grown independently without contact with them.
Description of Church/Clergy: The clergy of the Verdant Protectors maintain the grounds of temples and shrines of Solace around the world. These shrines and temples tend to also be farmhouses, grain houses and greenhouses. They are also seen travelling to the farmland around their temple in order to bless the land and tend to the land with the farmers themselves.
The Verdant Protectors:
The organized religion of Solace, the only one, for all other worship is simple, done via shrines to harvest, growing and farming in small towns.

Worship of Solace in the Grand Caravan:
The orcs of the Grand Caravan worship Solace in tandem with the god of the hunt, Stalk. They believe that they are two sides to the coin, and they are actually the same being, with Solace taking over during the day in order to encourage growth and feeding, and Stalk talking over at night, to encourage in predatory nature and hunting.
Worship of Solace in Yomi:
Most citizens of Yomi have an extreme love and respect for Solace. The emperor himself believes he is a prophet of the goddess and therefore commands that his people also worship her, though almost all Obake worship her regardless. The people of Yomi believe that nature is the most important aspect of life and strive to be closer to it in order to get closer to Solace. They throw parties, festivals and ceremonies all dedicated to the goddess.
Tenets of the Solace:
Trust in nature and cherish it, for it provides and takes care of you.
Nature is unforgiving, though it is the natural order and must be respected. There are times when nature must be renewed, in order to maintain the natural order.
The unnatural is a disease, excise it.
Listen to your dreams, they are my lullaby to you.
Sins of Solace:
- Defiling nature and using it in excess of what you need.
- Attempting to exert your control over nature without realizing it is a cycle.
