Churches and Factions:
If one were to try and trace back where the tenets and worship of Stalk began, they would trace it back to The Cycle. The Cycle is where the oldest known followers of Stalk come from within the Therian Tribes. Though at certain times in their history the Therian Tribe’s have wavered in their dedication to The Cycle their culture does not exist apart from it. They believe their worship and practicing of the tenets of Stalk are at the center of their very reason for existence.
In the last hundred years devot followers of The Cycle began to travel the world spreading their beliefs to the other kingdoms. They traveled with The Grand Caravan of Bhutaar throughout Zenith and down into Harshorne and all the way across the continent to Barleybuck and Il Paraonde.
Other Factions that Practice the Tenets of Stalk
Found within the Grand Caravan of Bhutar The Verdant Hand and The Dreamseers keep the tenets of Stalk as well as Solace but do so in conjunction of the two. To some degree they believe Stalk and Solace to be two sides of the same coin though each practices the tenets in their own way. The Verdant Hands are pious monks while The Dreamseers practice a form of shamanism.
Ook’zani Sylvane and The Broken Cycle
Thought to be a half orc half human who by some miracle survived birth, unlike most halflings who are stillborn or die shortly after birth.
Her followers are considered ‘extremists’ of the Cycle waging a cloak and dagger/guerrilla war against Zenith because of their decadence. Mostly made up of Therians, Orcs, and Humans they will accept anyone who practices what they consider the true Path of Stalk
